Moroccan newspaper exports are projected to hit approximately $1.1 million by 2028, up from around $1 million in 2023, marking a steady annual growth rate of 1.6%. This trend continues a pattern observed since 1998, where Moroccan exports have increased by an average of 2.7% per year. In the global rankings for 2023, Morocco stood at 45th place. The United Arab Emirates slightly edged out Morocco with exports also valued at roughly $1 million. Leading the pack were Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States, which occupied the second, third, and fourth spots respectively. On the import front, Moroccan newspaper imports are expected to decrease significantly. By 2028, imports are estimated to drop to about $5 million, down from $7.2 million in 2023. This reflects an average annual decline of 5.9%. Since 1998, the country's demand for imported newspapers has fallen by an average of 5.5% each year.
