According to recent data, the import value is expected to drop from approximately $13.3 million in 2023 to around $7.6 million by 2028. This represents an average annual decrease of about 9%. The downward trend is not new for Luxembourg. Since 2004, the demand for imported newspapers has been falling at an average rate of 7.5% per year. On the export side, Luxembourg saw a notable increase in 2018. Newspaper exports reached roughly $1.2 million, up from $930,000 in 2017. This marks a 25.7% increase year-over-year. However, it's important to note that since 2004, the supply of Luxembourger newspapers for export has been declining by an average rate of 10.2% annually.
