Jordan's newspaper imports are projected to decline to $184,000 by 2028, down from approximately $201,000 in 2023. This represents an average annual decrease of 1.4%. Since 1999, the country's demand for newspapers has steadily fallen by 2.1% each year. On the export front, Jordan's newspaper industry has also faced challenges. In 2018, the country exported newspapers worth nearly $18,000, down from about $19,000 in 2017. This marks a 7.8% decline compared to the previous year. Over the longer term, since 1999, Jordanian newspaper exports have decreased at an average annual rate of 8.7%.
