Since 2019, the European market has seen a slight annual decrease of 0.1%. Germany led the European market in 2023, generating about €13.1 billion in newspaper publishing revenue. The United Kingdom, France, and Spain followed in the rankings. Spain experienced significant growth, with an 11.3% year-on-year increase, while Greece's revenue plummeted by 36.1% annually since 2019.
