**Serbian Newspapers Export Projected to Decline by 2028** Belgrade – Serbian newspapers export is projected to decline to approximately $15 million by 2028, down from around $17 million in 2023, according to recent data. This represents an annual decrease of 2.1% in compound annual growth rate (CAGR). Since 2010, Serbia's newspaper supply has been falling at an average rate of 2.8% per year. As of 2023, Serbia ranked 20th in global newspaper exports. Hungary led the category with $17 million, while Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States secured the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. On the import side, Serbian newspapers saw a sharp decline in 2023, with imports falling to roughly $850,000 from around $1.4 million in 2022, marking a significant 39.4% drop year-on-year.
