Since 1995, the country's hydropower supply has grown at an annual rate of 0.2%. In the same year, Slovenia also held the 19th position globally in hydropower generation, again trailing Greece at 17,100 terajoules. The top three positions in hydropower generation were held by Sweden, France, and Italy.
