In 2021, Finland placed 32nd in the world rankings, with El Salvador overtaking it with 193.6 million kilograms. The United States, Japan and Mexico followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, exports of Finnish propane dropped by an astonishing 90.5% in 2018, to 47,150 kilograms, down from 494,690 kilograms in 2017. Since 1993, supply has decreased by 66.2% year on year. The country ranked 58th in 2018, with Estonia surpassing it at 47,150 kilograms. Canada, Algeria and Russia followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
