Indonesia's propane import is set to reach almost 3.8 billion kilograms by 2026, according to a recent report. The country has seen an average yearly growth rate of 3.5% since 1996. In 2021, Indonesia ranked seventh, with South Korea topping the list with 3.1 billion kilograms. The United States, Japan and Mexico occupied the second, third and fourth spots, respectively. Meanwhile, Indonesian propane exports grew by 30% in 2018, with close to 1 million kilograms shipped. This marked a 35.2% decrease since 1994. In 2018, Kyrgyzstan was the largest exporter, with 1 million kilograms. Canada, Algeria and Russia were the next top three exporters.
