Malagasy imports of gas turbines fell by 85.5% in 2021 compared to the previous year, to reach $37,610. This is the lowest level since 1995, when the figure was 60.2% lower than it is today. The Solomon Islands took first place in the ranking, followed by the UK, France and Singapore. Exports of Malagasy gas turbines increased by 77.4% in 2018 compared to the previous year, to reach $416,150. This is down 29.7% from 1995. El Salvador was the leading country in the ranking, followed by France, Singapore and Germany.
