Italy is set to see a rise in its gas turbine import and export over the next five years. According to projections, the import of gas turbines is expected to reach $2.7 billion in 2026, growing 1.8% year on year from 2021 when it was pegged at $2.4 billion. This is a 2.8% increase from 1999. In 2021, Italy ranked 13th in terms of imports, with Mexico ahead with $2.4 billion. The United Kingdom, France and Singapore followed respectively. In terms of exports, Italian gas turbine exports are expected to reach $3.9 billion by 2026, an increase of 0.6% year on year from 2021 when it was $3.7 billion. This is a 0.1% increase from 1999. In 2021, Italy ranked 11th in terms of exports, with Brazil ahead at $3.7 billion. France, Singapore and Germany followed respectively.
