South Africa's imports and exports of gas turbines are set to experience contrasting fortunes in the coming years. South Africa ranked 56th in 2021, with Kazakhstan outranking it at $88 million. The United Kingdom, France and Singapore ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, exports of gas turbines are set to drop by 6.3% by 2026, down from $35 million in 2021. This follows an average annual decrease of 16.1% since 2005. South Africa ranked 44th in 2021, with Bangladesh outranking it at $35 million. France, Singapore and Germany respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
