Swiss exports of gas turbines are forecast to drop by 1.3% a year on average to $1.3 billion by 2026, down from $1.44 billion in 2021. Since 1993, exports have fallen 4.5% annually. The UAE topped the rankings in 2021, at $1.44 billion, while Switzerland came in 18th. France, Singapore and Germany occupied positions two to four. Meanwhile, Swiss imports of gas turbines are expected to increase 1.4% annually to $1.18 billion by 2026, up from $1.08 billion in 2021. Since 1993, imports have grown 4.5% yearly. Qatar topped the rankings in 2021 at $1.08 billion, with Switzerland in 20th place. The UK, France and Singapore ranked second to fourth.
