Central African livestock production is expected to reach nearly 3.9 million heads by 2026. It grew an average of 1.3% each year since 2021, when it was at 3.6 million heads. This puts the country in 77th place on the world list, just behind Zimbabwe. The top three livestock producers are Brazil, India and the United States.
