Palestinian imports of herbicides are expected to decline by 1.2% annually over the next five years, reaching 218,960 kilograms in 2026. Since 2013, demand has fallen by 7.2% each year. Last year, the country ranked 118th in terms of herbicide imports, with 235,180 kilograms. The United Arab Emirates topped the list with the same amount, followed by Brazil, Nigeria, and the United States. Exports of herbicides from Palestine have also fallen significantly. In 2018, the country shipped just 1,100 kilograms of herbicides, a decrease of 81.5% from the previous year. Since 2013, Palestinian exports have dropped by 38.7% annually. Last year, the country was in 100th place worldwide, with Azerbaijan coming in first with the same amount. The United States, Belgium, and France were the next three largest exporters.
