Brazilian import and export of herbicides are set to increase in the next five years. Imports are expected to grow at an average rate of 2% year on year, reaching 132 million kilograms by 2026. This makes Brazil the second-largest importer in 2021, behind Thailand's 117.9 million kilograms. Nigeria, the United States and Brazil are the next three countries in the ranking. Exports are expected to rise 1.1% year on year, reaching 14.3 million kilograms by 2026. This places the country in 17th place in 2021, behind Indonesia's 13.4 million kilograms. The United States, Belgium and France follow in the rankings. Since 1994, Brazilian exports have increased by 24.7% year on year.
