Since 1997, the country's demand for herbicide has grown by 8.1% every year. Pakistan imported the most in 2018, at 7.6 million kilograms, followed by Brazil, Nigeria and the United States. Kenya exported 200,850 kilograms of herbicide in 2018, a 41.9% decrease from the previous year when 345,960 kilograms were exported. Since 1997, the country's supply has grown by 14.4% annually. Peru's exports were higher than Kenya's in 2018, at 200,850 kilograms, followed by the United States, Belgium and France.
