Paraguay is set to import nearly 30 million kilograms of herbicide by 2026, a 1.8% year on year average rate of growth since 1994. In 2021, Paraguay placed 26th in the global ranking of herbicide imports, with Uruguay one spot ahead at 26.7 million kilograms. Brazil, Nigeria and the United States placed second, third and fourth respectively. Paraguay is also set to export 3.7 million kilograms of herbicide by 2026, a 3.5% year on year CAGR since 2004. In 2021, Paraguay placed 37th in the global ranking of herbicide exports, with South Korea one spot ahead at 2.9 million kilograms. The United States, Belgium and France placed second, third and fourth respectively.
