Peruvian exports of herbicides are set to reach a quarter of a million kilograms by 2026, up from 216,000 in 2021. This is an average increase of 2.6% year on year since 1997. In 2021, Peru ranked 62nd in the world, with Slovakia ahead at 216,000 kilograms. The United States, Belgium and France followed in that order. Peruvian imports of herbicides are set to reach 20.5 million kilograms by 2026, up from 17.3 million in 2021. This is an average increase of 2.9% year on year since 1997. In 2021, Peru ranked 35th in the world, with Kazakhstan ahead at 17.3 million kilograms. Brazil, Nigeria and the United States followed in that order.
