This marks an 8.2 per cent rise since 2005. In 2021, South Africa ranked 15th, while Indonesia overtook it with 47.8 million kilograms imported. Brazil, Nigeria and the United States respectively came in numbers two, three and four in this ranking. Meanwhile, South Africa's herbicide exports are projected to reach 20.5 million kilograms by 2026 - a 0.8 per cent year-on-year growth on the 19.5 million kilograms exported in 2021. Since 2005, South Africa's supply rose 4.6 per cent year-on-year. In 2021, South Africa ranked 15th, while Poland came ahead with 19.5 million kilograms exported. The United States, Belgium and France respectively came in numbers two, three and four in this ranking.
