Demand for herbicide imports in Azerbaijan is expected to grow by 4.3% year on year on average to reach 1.47 million kilograms by 2026. This is an increase of 24.6% compared to 2001. In 2021, Azerbaijan was ranked number 100 in herbicide imports with 1.13 million kilograms, overtaken by Myanmar with 1.6 million kilograms. Brazil, Nigeria and the United States came in second, third and fourth respectively. In 2018, Azerbaijan was ranked 97th, overtaken by Oman with 1.6 million kilograms. The United States, Belgium and France were the second, third and fourth largest importers respectively.
