Exports of herbicides from the United Arab Emirates are set to increase to 535,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 453,000 kilograms in 2021. This is a growth rate of 2.8% year-on-year. Since 2012, Emirati supplies have grown 27.8% annually. The UAE was the 50th biggest exporter of herbicides in 2021, while Panama was in the top spot with 453,000 kilograms exported. The United States, Belgium and France, respectively, were the second, third and fourth biggest exporters. Imports of herbicides to the UAE are projected to reach 331,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 275,000 kilograms in 2021. This is an average growth rate of 3.1% year-on-year. Since 2012, Emirati demand has increased 14.1% annually. The UAE was the 113th largest importer of herbicides in 2021, with Namibia taking the top spot at 275,000 kilograms. Brazil, Nigeria and the United States, respectively, were the second, third and fourth biggest importers.
