Costa Rican demand for polyamides is expected to reach 1.6 million kilograms by 2026, a 3.3% increase from 2021's 1.3 million kilograms. This is a 24% rise since 1999. Costa Rica was the 49th largest importer of polyamides in 2021, overtaken by Israel's 1.3 million kilograms. China, India and the United States were the top three importers, respectively. Costa Rica's polyamide exports are also projected to increase in the next five years, reaching 7,600 kilograms by 2026. This is a 0.5% rise from 2021's 7,270 kilograms, and a 29.4% rise since 1999. Costa Rica was the 63rd largest exporter of polyamides in 2021, surpassed by Panama's 7,270 kilograms. The United States, Italy and the Netherlands were the top three exporters, respectively.
