Global exports of polyamides are expected to reach 828 million kilograms by 2026, up from 749 million kilograms in 2021. This represents a 1.3% annual growth rate since 2016. Germany led the way in 2021 with 177 million kilograms exported, followed by the United States, Italy and the Netherlands. The Philippines saw a 194.8% year-on-year increase, while New Zealand had a 61.6% decrease since 2016. Global imports of polyamides are also projected to reach 998 million kilograms by 2026, up from 903 million kilograms in 2021. This is an increase of 2.8% year on year since 2016. Germany was the leader in 2021 with 131 million kilograms imported, followed by China, India and the United States. Bermuda recorded a 277.8% year-on-year rise, while Burkina Faso saw an 80.8% decrease since 2016.
