The US, Italy and the Netherlands came in second, third and fourth respectively. India's imports of polyamides are forecast to reach 96.8 million kilograms by 2026, up from 79.8 million kilograms in 2021. This is equivalent to a compound annual growth rate of 3%. Since 1993, demand has increased by an average of 3% annually. India was the third largest importer of polyamides in 2021, behind China at 79.8 million kilograms. China, India and the US followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
