Morocco's polyamides imports are projected to reach 1.6 million kilograms by 2026, up 3% per year on average since 2021. This is up from the 1.3 million kilograms in 2021 and 5.5% higher than the amount imported since 1998. Morocco came in at 48th place in the 2021 rankings, just behind Tunisia which imported 1.3 million kilograms. China, India and the United States took the top three spots. Meanwhile, Moroccan polyamides exports are projected to reach 84,380 kilograms by 2026, a 4.3% average annual increase from the 64,560 kilograms exported in 2021. This is a 70.8% increase from the amount exported since 1998. Morocco ranked 44th in 2021, with Serbia taking the lead at 64,560 kilograms. The US, Italy and the Netherlands followed in the top four spots.
