Norwegian demand for polyamides is expected to reach 1.75 million kilograms by 2026, up 1.1% year-on-year on average since 2021. This is a decrease of 3% since 1998 when Norway was at number 42 in the world ranking. Nigeria was in the lead in 2021 with 1.62 million kilograms, followed by China, India and the United States. Norwegian polyamides export is projected to dip 10.4% year-on-year on average from 2021 to 2026, down to 204,870 kilograms. This is a 10.8% decrease since 1998 when Norway was number 33 in the world ranking. Canada was ahead in 2021 with 376,340 kilograms, followed by the United States, Italy and the Netherlands.
