Oman’s polyamides exports are expected to drop by 3.5% year on year to reach 5,550 kilograms by 2026. This figure represents a 35.2% growth since 2014. In 2021, Oman ranked 65th in terms of export volume, with Costa Rica ahead at 6,730 kilograms. The United States, Italy and the Netherlands took the second, third and fourth spots respectively. Meanwhile, Omani polyamides imports are predicted to decrease by 3% year on year to reach 119,870 kilograms by 2026. This figure has been on the decline since 1995, dropping by 4.3% year on year. In 2021, Oman came 74th in terms of imports, with Kenya in the lead at 141,190 kilograms. China, India and the United States took the second, third and fourth places respectively.
