Bermudian imports of polyamides surged 3,150% in 2018 compared to the previous year, with a total of 1,020 kilograms. This is a dramatic increase compared to 2017, when the country imported just 31.4 kilograms of the material. Since 2014, Bermudian demand for polyamides has grown 277.8% year on year. China, India and the United States respectively placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in this ranking. Guyana, meanwhile, overtook Bermudian imports with a total of 1,020 kilograms in 2018.
