Uganda's manganese imports plummeted 97.6% in 2018, dropping from 25,000 kilograms to just 612 kilograms. This marks a 61.3% decrease from 2017's figures. Despite this, Uganda still ranked 79th in the world in terms of imports. Senegal, meanwhile, topped the table with 612 kilograms. Japan, Russia and India followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
