Senegalese manganese export is expected to reach 1.63 million kilograms by 2026. The country's supply grew 18.6% year on year between 2017 and 2021, when it reached 1.31 million kilograms and ranked 14th in the world. Italy was the top exporter, followed by the Netherlands, South Korea and Kazakhstan. Senegalese manganese import was 700 kilograms in 2019, up 71.6% from 408 kilograms in 2018. Since then, demand rose 58.5% year on year. In 2019, Senegal was ranked 77th in the world, while Uruguay was the top importer, followed by Japan, Russia and India.
