The Netherlands, South Korea, and Kazakhstan came in second, third, and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Portuguese imports of manganese are forecast to drop to around 18,600 kilograms by 2026, down from 23,700 kilograms in 2021. This represents a 4% average decline year-on-year since 1993, when imports fell by 14.2%. In 2021, Portugal was 63rd in the world in terms of imports, with Pakistan leading the way at 23,700 kilograms. Japan, Russia, and India followed in second, third, and fourth place.
