Saudi Arabia's import of manganese is projected to dip by 2.1% annually over the next five years to reach 1.09 million kilograms in 2026. Since 1996, the country has seen an 18.7% yearly rise in demand. Saudi Arabia was the 24th biggest importer in 2021, with Norway leading the way at 1.24 million kilograms. Japan, Russia, and India trailed in second, third, and fourth places respectively. In 2018, Saudi Arabia exported 525,000 kilograms of manganese, far surpassing the 100,000 kilograms shipped the previous year, which was a 425% increase. Austria was the biggest exporter that year, with Saudi Arabia in 22nd place. The Netherlands, South Korea, and Kazakhstan ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
