Since 2013, demand has grown by an average of 80.9% annually. In 2021, Kuwait ranked 75th in the global ranking of manganese imports. Algeria led the rankings, importing 1,200 kilograms. Japan, Russia and India followed, respectively coming in second, third and fourth.
