Brazil led global pulp exports in 2021 with 16.4 million metric tons, followed by Canada, the United States, and Chile. Laos saw a huge increase of 393.1% year-on-year, while Israel saw a dramatic decrease of 100%. Global Pulp Import is estimated to hit 70.7 million metric tons by 2026, up 1.4% year-on-year from 2021's 64.9 million metric tons. This is a 2.4% year-on-year increase since 1966. China was the world's largest importer of pulp in 2021 with 27.1 million metric tons, followed by the United States, Germany, and Italy. Andorra saw an increase of 241% year-on-year, while Brunei saw a decline of 61.6% since 1966.
