Emerging markets such as the Philippines and Ethiopia exhibit notable growth, registering increases of 0.78% and 1.66% respectively in 2023. Mature markets like Australia and Switzerland show mixed trends with a decline of 3.68% in Australia and a modest increase of 0.91% in Switzerland. On the other hand, countries like Venezuela and Cuba experienced declines in demand, with decreases of 4.62% and 5.59% respectively.

Looking forward, regions with growing middle-class populations and increasing urbanization, such as Southeast Asia and Africa, are expected to see accelerated coffee demand. Additionally, sustainability trends and the adoption of specialty coffee will likely influence consumption patterns in developed markets.
