The year-on-year growth exhibited substantial variability with peaks in 2015 (33.93%) and troughs in 2016 (-82.67%). Over the past five years, a consistent decline is noted with a 2023 CAGR of -6.08%. Forecasts indicate a further downward trend, with a 2028 forecast 5-year CAGR at -14.19% and an overall 53.47% reduction in export volume from 2023.
Future trends to watch include changes in global market demand, domestic production policies, and international trade relations, which may influence Vietnam's vegetable oil export volumes.
