In 2023, the United States led global coffee consumption with 28.4 million bags of 60 kg, followed by Brazil with 24.14 million bags. Japan and Indonesia ranked third and fourth with 8.14 and 5.44 million bags, respectively. Remarkable growth was observed in the Philippines (3.22% YoY), Vietnam (3.42% YoY), and Thailand (3.11% YoY). On the other hand, significant declines were seen in Yemen (-2.25% YoY) and Ghana (-4.85% YoY). Over the past five years, the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) highlights steady increases across most markets.
