The year-on-year variation for 2023 was a 1.12% decline. Over the past five years leading up to 2023, the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) reflected a slight average yearly decrease of 0.82%.
Projected data from 2024 to 2028 continues to forecast a downward trend, with a 5-year CAGR of -1.01% and an overall reduction rate of approximately 4.94%. Observing this within a long-term context, it is evident that the reliance on CT scanners is diminishing.
Future trends to monitor include advancements in alternative imaging technologies, healthcare policy changes, and evolving diagnostic techniques that could impact the demand for CT scanners. Additionally, monitoring any significant shifts in healthcare infrastructure investment and demographic health patterns will be crucial.
