Demand for Bhutanese Pulp is forecast to increase over the next five years. The import is estimated to grow 0.2% year on year, reaching 545 metric tons by 2026. Since 2001, the demand has been climbing steadily, up 0.1% year on year. Bhutan placed 115th in 2021, behind Zimbabwe at 537 metric tons. The US, Germany and Italy were ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Bhutanese Pulp Export is expected to grow steadily, with an estimated 3.4% year on year CAGR. From 2002, the supply has increased by 1.6% year on year. Bhutan ranked 86th in 2021, behind Zambia at 105 metric tons. Canada, the US and Chile placed second, third and fourth respectively.
