Belizean demand for pulp is forecast to grow by 2% year on year, reaching 4,070 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country ranked 93rd in the world with 3,460 metric tons. North Korea was ahead of Belize with the same amount of pulp, while the United States, Germany and Italy ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Belizean pulp exports, however, are set to decline by 18.6% year on year, reaching 60 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, Belize placed 75th, with 196 metric tons of pulp. Guinea-Bissau was higher on the ranking, followed by Canada, the United States and Chile respectively. Since 2003, Belizean supply has decreased by 25.7% year on year.
