This marks a 37.7% decrease since 1980. Cape Verde overtook Gabon as the 166th highest importer of pulp. The US, Germany, and Italy were the next top three in the ranking. Gabon's pulp exports are predicted to reach 23 metric tons by 2026, with a CAGR of 0.9%, down from 24 metric tons in 2021. Since 2017, the country's supply of pulp has remained steady. Zimbabwe overtook Gabon in 2021 as the 108th largest exporter of pulp, with Canada, the US, and Chile following close behind.
