Tunisia is set to reach 78,480 metric tons in pulp import by 2026, a 1.5% decrease from the 74,560 metric tons imported in 2021. Since 1975, imports have decreased by 11.7% year-on-year. Switzerland came in first place, followed by the United States, Germany and Italy. Pulp exports from Tunisia fell drastically in 2021, with only 731 metric tons compared to 1,440 metric tons in 2020 – a decrease of 49.3%. Since 1969, exports have decreased by 24.2%. Sierra Leone took first place, followed by Canada, the United States and Chile.
