Since 1966, Greek demand has dropped by 3.8% on average each year. Algeria was the highest importer in 2021 with 108,000 metric tons, followed by the United States, Germany, and Italy. Greek pulp exports are expected to decrease significantly to 1,170 metric tons by 2026. This would be a 7.6% drop from the 1,520 metric tons reported in 2021. The country has seen a 14% decrease in supply since 1997. Jordan was the top exporter in 2021 with 1,520 metric tons, followed by Canada, the United States, and Chile.
