Croatian imports of pulp fell 58% to around 110,000 metric tons in 2021, compared to the previous year. Since 1997, demand has decreased by 16%. Croatia was in 139th position, with Saint Lucia overtaking it. The US, Germany, and Italy were in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place respectively. Meanwhile, Croatian pulp exports are forecast to reach around 49,000 metric tons in 2026, a 1% annual average growth since 2021. Since 1997, supply has been rising at a rate of 6% each year. In 2021, Croatia was in 34th place, with South Korea overtaking it. Canada, the US, and Chile were in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place respectively.
