Hungary's pulp export is forecast to drop by 18.3% year on year in 2026, compared to the 19.3% decline since 1970. In 2021, the country was in 45th place, with 6,470 metric tons, behind Vietnam. Canada, the US and Chile followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Meanwhile, Hungarian pulp import is expected to grow by 0.3% year on year on average until 2026, compared to the 1.6% increase since 1966. Last year, the country was in 43rd place, with 141,960 metric tons, behind Peru. The US, Germany and Italy were in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
