Lebanese imports of pulp are forecast to reach 27,630 metric tons by 2026, down 0.5% annually from 24,880 metric tons in 2021. Since 1982, Lebanese demand has decreased by 11.2% per year. In 2021, Lebanon was ranked 66th, while Syria took the lead with 24,880 metric tons. The United States, Germany and Italy took the second, third and fourth places in the ranking respectively. Lebanese pulp exports are expected to reach 141 metric tons in 2026, up 1.3% annually from 100 metric tons in 2021. Since 2009, the Lebanese supply has decreased by 0.6% a year. In 2021, Lebanon was ranked 87th, while Belize overtook at 100 metric tons. Canada, the United States and Chile were placed second, third and fourth in the ranking respectively.
