Brazil's chromium imports are set to reach 1.3 million kilograms by 2026, a 2% year-on-year growth since 1994. The country ranked 11th in 2021, with India coming in first with 1.1 million kilograms. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. In 2018, Brazil's chromium exports plummeted by 60.9% to 200 kilograms, down from 512 kilograms in 2017. Since 1994, supplies have dropped by 55.1%. The country came in 45th place in 2018, with Indonesia taking the lead at 200 kilograms. Poland, France and the United Kingdom were in second, third and fourth positions in the ranking.
