Argentina's imports of chromium are expected to reach around 32,000 kilograms by 2026. Over the past two decades, demand has grown by an average of 1.5% per year. In 2021, Croatia overtook Argentina as the number 45 in the global ranking with 28,970 kilograms. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan occupied the second, third and fourth positions respectively. In contrast, exports of chromium from Argentina dropped from 10 kilograms in 2014 to just 1 kilogram in 2015.
