Peruvian chromium import is set to reach 19,000 kilograms by 2026, growing 1.8% year-on-year, according to a CAGR. Since 1997, the country's demand has jumped by 27%. In 2021, Peru was in 51st place with 16,580 kilograms, behind Egypt. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan were ranked second, third and fourth respectively. In 2018, Peruvian chromium export totalled 35 kilograms, compared to 795.86 kilograms in the previous year, a decrease of 96%. That year, Peru came in 50th place, behind Hungary. Poland, France and the UK were the countries that came in second, third and fourth place respectively.
