In 2018, Zimbabwe’s chromium imports skyrocketed 900%, jumping from a mere 10 kilograms to 100 kilograms. This marked a significant departure from the downward trend seen since 2011, when Zimbabwe’s chromium demands were 25.7% lower than the previous year. Armenia topped the 2018 rankings, with 100 kilograms of chromium imported. Germany, the Netherlands and Japan placed second, third and fourth, respectively.
